While this farm will likely sell as a producing tillable farm, the amount of deer that we saw while walking this piece was crazy. Maybe it was just a lucky day, and they were herded up in the timber on this tract, but I bet we saw 25 deer in that timber. Deer were popping up from the thick undergrowth everywhere. If you look at the aerial, there is a large tract of timber to the northwest, but this 20 acres of timber and the 15 acres or so of timber that connects to the 20 are sort of by themselves, so I can see why it holds deer. The whole piece lays pretty flat and is an easy piece to farm as it lays all along a nice blacktop county road. This certainly would make a nice addition to a farmer’s tillable acreage. There is a pretty old barn at the front of the timber for farm equipment or hay storage. Call the listing agents today to set up a time to take a look!
