Todd Crosby

Co-Op Member Owner
Crosby Land Company, Inc.
Walterboro, South Carolina
After serving active duty in the United States Air Force, Todd L. Crosby began his career in the forest products industry in 1993. This experience served him well, as he gained significant knowledge and expanded his capabilities in forest and land management. This eventually led him to forest resource consultants, Shaw, McLeod, Belser and Hurlbutt and a full time career in real estate in 2002. SMB&H would later become American Forest Management, Inc., one of the largest privately owned forestry consulting and land brokerage firms in the US. After 16 years of a successful partnership with AFM, Todd’s strong desire to expand his presence in rural land brokerage led him to open Crosby Land Company, Inc. Todd’s areas of specialty include historic antebellum plantations, large recreational tracts for outdoor enthusiasts, investment grade timberland and multi-use agricultural properties. Having grown up in the Low Country of South Carolina and more specifically the “ACE Basin” of Colleton County, he has a deep appreciation for the land and the local rural communities. As a fifth-generation land owner himself, Todd has the ability to share firsthand knowledge in all aspects of wildlife management, sound forestry practices, conservation easements and land use planning. Since 2010, Todd has sold over $200 million dollars’ worth of rural land which included over 100,000 acres in the Southeast. Whether you are buying land for the first time or selling a property that has been in your family for decades, Todd understand land, land transactions and the associated intricacies as very few can. Todd and his wife, Melissa, have four children and reside on their property “Holly Bluff”, near Yemasee, South Carolina.
