Mudge Hunting Ranch

The Mudge Hunting Ranch is a nearly fully fenced property that is located on the edge of the Grand Mesa, which offers some of the state's best hunting and recreational opportunities. This 181+- acre parcel borders BLM on the East and West sides, allowing for unlimited access for hunting and hiking enjoyment. Land Hunting on and near the ranch is exceptional with a record book black bear taken on the neighboring property in 2018 and a B&C mule deer taken on the Grand Mesa above the property in 2015.  Elk and Moose are also often on the property around the Sooner Ditch.  Colorado GMU 52 offers over the counter elk licenses and the ranch qualifies for the landowner program to allow deer hunting every couple of years. This end-of-the-road property offers the exquisite outdoor experiences expected from being at the end of the road and bordering large tracts of public land, but the newly built gravel road gives easy gated access to the property. This property can be an amazing stand-alone hunting property, or can be combined with the Warren Hunting Ranch, which adjoins to the North, to make a large end-of-the-road property. Improvements The ranch includes a 1060 square foot snow shed that houses a 29×8 foot camp trailer and features a 16 foot sun porch with wood stove for entertaining.  A solar power system provides the electric for the trailer and the snow shed (4- 100 watt Renogy solar panels, charging 200 amp hour batteries) and a 4200 Watt dual fuel generator provides for additional power.  There is also a 14 x 21.6 foot metal building that functions as a workshop and storage for the equipment used to maintain the property.
