This range allows for up to 450 yard shots as well as a short range pistol range. Water is abundant inside the preserve—four separate wells service all the structures, waterers, and breeding facilities. Multiple ponds, including a 4-acre lake and another over an acre, make for great fishing.  There are numerous springs and four main tributary creeks, with 3 having year-round water. One of the tributary creeks has had millions of years of running water and has formed a beautiful landscape in limestone, opening into an unexplored small cave.  The hunting on the property is unbelievable, with several hundred deer and the average buck harvested being over 175 and multiple well over 200.  A large elk herd and a thriving Sika deer population have been established on the property.  In addition, a substantial and healthy wild turkey population calls this property home.  There are also 14 permanent hunting blinds located strategically throughout the preserve.  The breeding facilities include a fawn barn with numerous stalls for fawn success and an incredible chicken coop.
