The thick, pine, serviceberry, oak brush, and sagebrush covered slopes are home to several species of animals that reside in the area year-round, so it is common to see them roaming the property. There are 2 ponds on the ranch, and one of which is spring fed and currently has goldfish swimming in it. The entire perimeter of the property is also fenced, with several additional pastures used for summer grazing also being fenced.   Improvements The luxury 5598 square-foot lodge is comprised of a main floor with 2 bedrooms, a downstairs containing several bunk beds and a walk-out patio, as well as an upstairs that overlooks the main floor. There are numerous seating areas inside or outside on the deck that overlook the spring fed pond, a beautiful valley with a meadow throughout the bottom, and rolling mountains! There is a large laundry room that also leads into an attached 3 car garage. Overall, this appealing house can comfortably sleep up to 14 guests. A 2-story multi-purpose barn sits just to the northwest of the main lodge. The bottom portion of the barn has been used as an equipment barn that is big enough accommodate tractors, trucks, trailers, or even be used as basic storage due to having 3 different workshop bays. The upper portion consists of a 1879 square-foot apartment with 3 bedrooms, 2 bath, and a full kitchen. Each end of the barn has a deck that overlooks unique scenery at either the north end or the south end. Despite having many different uses, these living quarters can sleep up to 10 guests. There are also 3 guest cabins adjacent to the main lodge that comprise of 1 bedroom, 1 bath, and can sleep up to 2 guests each. Each cabin has its’ own small fireplace and deck with seating for one to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of a secluded property such as this one! All together between the main lodge, the multi-purpose barn, and the guest cabins, this one of a kind property can accommodate up to 30 guests! Lastly, there is horse barn that is made up of 11 stalls and a tack room with a couple pens outside. Due to the unpredictable weather in the area, this barn is very convenient to have, alongside all of the other improvements.   Recreation Due to the location of the ranch, there is a variety of recreational opportunities that one has access to. While on the property, enjoy hiking, riding bikes, or horseback riding throughout the 180 deeded acres. Access hundreds of thousands of acres of National Forest and other public lands from the back door in under 20 minutes, thanks to the numerous different access points nearby. From there, you will have endless trails to follow, countless streams and alpine lakes to fish in, and lots of acreage to hunt for a variety of animals! Other recreation within close proximity is the 148,000+ acre Zion National Park which is approximately 45 minutes to the southwest, or the 35,000+ acre Bryce Canyon National Park located roughly 45 minutes to the northeast of the property. Panguitch Lake, a blue ribbon fishery is also under 1  hour to the north and has various species of trout including Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout, and Tiger Trout, and occasionally Brook Trout and Brown Trout! Location The small town of Alton, UT is the closest from the property, which is about 5 minutes to the east. Panguitch, UT is roughly 30 minutes to the north. Kanab, UT is located approximately 45 minutes to the south. For more recreational opportunities and closest air travel, Cedar City Regional Airport is just about 1 hour to the west. Beaver, UT offers similar opportunities and is located 1 hour and 20 minutes to the north. St. George, UT is also under 2 hours from the ranch.
