This area is known for short warm dry summers, with the occasional rain shower in the afternoon. The hottest month is July, with an average high of 88 degrees. Casper is conveniently location in the middle of Wyoming with an easy drive north of Denver, Colorado, on Interstate 25 or a scenic drive south of Billings, Montana.
