Buffalo County Pivot Irrigated Farm

This is a pivot irrigated farm just ½ mile off of Highway 30 with access along Evergreen and 17th Road. It is located approximately four miles southwest of Kearney. The farm includes 122.73 acres with 155.28 acres being irrigated and the balance grass and roads.

The north half of the farm has class 1 rated Hord silt loam soils which are great for crop production. The southwest portion of the farm has mostly class 3 rated Lex silt loam soils.

There is a 7 tower T&L center pivot sprinkler on the farm. There is a diesel power unit that powers the well, but is not included. The north portion has been planted to alfalfa and other crops in recent years. The southwest portion of the farm is in prairie grass and has been baled in the past.
