Land The mostly flat, but slightly sloping fields slowly rise into large rolling sagebrush covered hills that consume a majority of the surrounding land. Due to the location of the ranch, many animals such as elk, deer, and antelope can be seen roaming throughout the property, with the later months attracting higher populations. Not to mention the various mountains you can see in the distance from the ranch! Recreation Aldrich Lakes are less than 15 minutes away and have various fish such as rainbow trout, Tiger Trout, Splake, and Lake Trout. There are several access points to public lands including BLM and the White River National Forest nearby where one will find endless trails, a variety of wildlife including elk, deer, bear, and even moose, and several alpine lakes and streams that will keep you busy for countless days! There are numerous recreational opportunities within short distance from Little Jacket Ranch. Craig, Steamboat Springs, and Rifle all offer lots of activities including strolling through local businesses, floating nearby rivers, golfing, or even getting a bite to eat at one of the many appetizing restaurants. Location From Little Jacket Ranch, Craig, CO is located approximately 20 minutes north. Meeker, CO is roughly 30 minutes to the southwest of the property. Steamboat Springs  is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from the ranch. For closest air travel, Yampa Valley Regional Airport is located in Hayden, CO, which is just under 1 hour northeast from the ranch.
