The twin covered porch areas allow you to step outside and enjoy the country fresh air along with the peaceful and private surroundings. Close out the day while enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of a crackling fire while gathered around the outdoor fire pit

Added features incorporated into the custom built lodge to meet commercial codes: State and County inspected and approved

1. The foundation slab and sidewalks are commercial thickness

2. All bedroom doors are rated 20 minute burn rate and have self closing hinges

3. Each room has separate duct heat and AC. Climate control for each bedroom

4. Building has more than the required handicap access. 1 in the front and 2 in the middle and 2 in the rear of the building plus concrete walkways

5. Building has the required fresh air induction system to control humidity

6.The septic system is commercial grade with 1200 feet of drain lines and 2 tanks

7. The water heaters are 80 gallons and are overkill, but you never run out of hot water

8. There is a handicap bathroom on the first floor

9. All ceilings in halls and bedrooms are 9ft

10. All hallways are 10ft wide like a hotel

11. Commercial smoke detectors and exit signs in the building

12. Sheet rock is commercial grade thickness

13. The kitchen has a grease trap, plus commercial grade hoods. Sprinklers are only required if fryers are used

Land Between The Lakes (LBL) National Recreation Area is a protected peninsula made up of 170,000 acres of woodlands, wetlands and open areas of pure outdoor recreation located a short drive from the property. Over 300 miles of scenic shoreline with Kentucky Lake running along the west side of LBL and Lake Barkley to the east. These lakes are two of the top fishing and recreational lakes in the southeast. The vastness and diversity of these waterways create plenty of space for recreational boaters and anglers. Fisherman generally target the healthy population of largemouth bass and crappie. It should be noted that these lakes are nationally renowned largemouth bass fisheries

Summertime highs range from the mid 80’s to low 90’s making it ideal for outdoor fun, and water sports on nearby Lake Barkley and Kentucky Lake

Fall colors are gorgeous, and as the nights turn cooler and the leaves begin to change from green to many vibrant colors with daytime temperatures in the 70’s and 80’s plus cool comfortable nights in the 50’s and 60’s. Winter is moderate by most standards boasting daytime temperatures in the 50’s and nighttime lows in the 30’s and 40’s, with the rare, but seemingly always welcomed light snowfall
