The Weldon Creek 264 acres is an exceptional hunting and recreation property with over 1/2 mile of spring fed creek running through the middle of the property. The purpose of the Qualified Forest Program (QFP) is to encourage landowners to actively manage their privately owned forests for commercial harvest, wildlife habitat enhancement, and improvement of other non-forest resources. In exchange for managing their forests in a sustainable fashion, the landowner will receive an exemption from the local school operating millage.

The Marquette Rail is a short line railroad operating and based in Ludington. It operates 126 miles north from Grand Rapids to Manistee and it borders the West property line of Weldon Creek 264.
