Mark F. Walz

CEO / CFO

Mark F. Walz is an effective problem solver and decision maker with forty years of experience as a CPA in managerial and consulting positions with Arthur Andersen & Co., Ernst & Young, Fortune 500 companies, consolidations/roll-ups, and private companies in oil and gas, construction, service, retail, and publishing. This diverse experience has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of running businesses. Within the land industry, Mark was CEO and CFO of Farm and Ranch publishing and farmandranch.com, providing the foundation for launching Open Fences magazine and landbrokermls.com in 2012 with David Light, progressing to their involvement in the formation of the Land Broker Co-op in 2018.

David Light

Chief Development Officer (CDO)

David Light is a recognized leader in luxury international recreational real estate, known for his expertise in large land acquisition and marketing. He co-founded the Land Broker Co-op and LANDBrokerMLS.com in 2019 to address rising costs and industry pressures, helping grow the platform to more than 1,000 member-owners and 15,000 members. Previously, David co-founded and published Open Fences Magazine, widely regarded as North America's premier rural real estate publication, until its successful sale. Born in Southern England, he moved to the United States in 1991 and built a career rooted in his passion for land, hunting, fishing, and equestrian pursuits.

CT Adams

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

CT Adams is the Chief Operating Officer of the Land Broker Co-op, where he oversees operations, technology strategy, and member growth initiatives for the nation's only broker-owned platform serving rural real estate professionals. With a background spanning operations management, digital infrastructure, and marketing, CT has played a central role in modernizing the Co-op's technology stack and expanding its national footprint. He is deeply focused on data ownership, industry transparency, and building tools that empower land brokers and agents. CT is committed to strengthening the Co-op's position as a member-driven alternative in a rapidly evolving real estate landscape.

Natalie Teichert

Director of Sales

Natalie Teichert has been a part of Land Broker Co-op since 2021. She brings a strong blend of marketing expertise and client-focused leadership. Living and working on a cattle ranch gives her firsthand understanding of land ownership and the unique needs of rural property professionals. Natalie earned certificates in Social Media Marketing and Communications Fundamentals, equipping her with modern strategies to connect buyers, sellers, and brokers effectively. Her practical experience, professionalism, and deep appreciation for the land make her a trusted resource in the land real estate industry.

Dan Hatfield

Broker / Owner, Hatfield Realty

Dan Hatfield is Broker/Owner of Hatfield Realty, a firm specializing in ranch, recreational, and investment properties across Texas since 1978. A respected industry leader, Dan has served as Chairman of the Board for the Texas Association of Realtors, National President of the Realtors Land Institute (RLI), State President of RLI, and President of the Texas Alliance of Land Brokers. He has also held positions on the National Association of Realtors' Executive Committee and Board of Directors, including Chairman of the Land Use and Property Rights Committee. Dan is a sought-after speaker and a dedicated mentor within the land real estate industry.
