Graduating with a Degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas Tech University, Von has always embraced ranching, both as an operator and as a marketer of ranch properties.
Von is a Member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and serves on the Board of Directors of the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show (annual Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo).
Von also serves on the Board of the Cowboy Heritage Association, as well as the Board of the Texas Chapter of the Realtors Land Institute.
Von created Box Land Company, LLC to market ranches, from Horse and cattle ranches, to hunting and recreational properties throughout Texas and the Southwest.
He currently resides on the family ranch in Zavala County, Texas… ‘living the life’.
