 Stepping into the main lodge the ceilings soar with picturesque windows capturing the stunning views of the mountain range and your personal stocked bass pond. The gourmet kitchen features natural quartzite counters and custom reclaimed heart pine cabinetry. All the modern features of a chefs kitchen such as a 48” commercial grade gas stove are present making cooking easy and enjoyable. 

Antique doors, custom woodwork, and locally sourced materials are showcased through the lodge.

Four suites provide private access to the porches and outdoor entertaining areas allowing guests to utilize their spaces independently. Large walk in showers and soaking tubs are featured in the bathrooms.

Stepping outside, raised flower and garden beds and beautiful glass greenhouse with automatic ventilation capabilities make gardening a dream. In addition to your stocked small and large bass pond located just outside the main lodge, a second spring fed pond is just a short walk away and is stocked with a southern rarity, rainbow trout.

Further into the property and set on a bluff overlooking the national forest, sits a solar powered log cabin. Featuring a 1b/1b, full kitchen and living set up, this cabin provides off the grid sustainability and a fantastic guest house.

With 6 miles of trail systems hiking, ATV or horseback riding are easily enjoyed. The wildlife is exceptional at Blue Mountain Preserve. Deer, Turkey and even the occasional black bear can be seen in and around the property. The hunting opportunities are limitless as in addition to your 283+ acres, you have direct access to hundreds of acres via the Talladega National Forest.

Located in Chandler Springs, Spring Mt. Preserve boasts a rich history. The ruins of two pioneer cabins, both dating pre-civil war and civil war era are located on the estate. Presumed to formally house prospectors for gold and later iron forage workers you can find iron ore slag around the structure remains. Evidence of old whiskey stills are found at many of the property’s spring fed branches.
