This McLean County farmland in the path of progress rests adjacent to Bloomington’s southeast city limits. It was labeled as an emerging neighborhood area in the City of Bloomington 2015-2035 Comprehensive Plan. There is road access from Ireland Grove Road on the north and Abraham Road along the east side. Hamilton Road starts at the southwest portion of the farm. There is rail access from the Norfolk Southern Railroad along the south edge of the property. It is currently zoned agricultural and leased on a competitive annual cash rent lease of 122.4 acres to preserve lower real estate tax assessments. The soils are 137.3 weighted productivity index comprised mainly of Osco, Sable, Catlin and Ipava soil types.
