Region & Climate Bostic, NC has a humid subtropical climate with mild winters and hot, humid summers. Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Bostic experiences greater variations in temperature than other places at similar latitude on the East Coast. Winters are usually mild with temperatures rarely dropping below freezing and snowfall is infrequent. Summers are hot and humid with temperatures averaging in the mid-80s Fahrenheit during the day and upper 60s at night. Precipitation is fairly evenly distributed throughout the year with around 41 inches of rain annually.

History Golden Valley Estates is a gated community that was established in 2007 just north of the town of Bostic, North Carolina.  HOA fees are $400 per lot annually.
