Location
Quail Haven is found in the northeastern Texas Panhandle, just 12 miles south of Wellington, 17 miles north of Childress, 20 miles east of Memphis, 14 miles west of Hollis, OK and approximately 100 miles east of Amarillo. It is about 0.3 miles off of pavement from Highway 62.
History
This property has been primarily used for cattle and a recreational retreat by the owners over the years.
Water
Buck Creek meanders through this property for almost a mile, providing seasonal water for wildlife and livestock. The Red River Authority of Texas supplies water to the houses and livestock water. There is also an older irrigation well located near the house that has not been used in recent years and the condition is unknown. There is also another wet weather dirt tank on the property.
