Elevation, Topography, Vegetation

.The elevation of the range ranges from a highest point of around 7,100 feet to around 6,600 feet at the lowest point. Vegetation consist of a variety of tree species including alligator juniper, red juniper, pinyon pines, and a few ponderosa pines with grasses including different species of grama grasses, bush muhly, vine mesquite, buffalo, and slender wheatgrass to name a few along with various wildflower and cacti species

Ag Uses

ABQ Ranch could be utilized as a cattle ranch, horse ranch or combination ranch running a few head of cattle and/or horses. The ranch would need to be fenced before owner would be able to stock livestock.

Timber

A fire impacted approximately one-third of the ranch in 2016 leaving good quantities of fire-cured standing dead timber which makes excellent firewood. Possible to contract out to sell for firewood or hire hands to cut and sell.

Hunting

Hunting for elk and deer is good with lots of sign of deer on the ranch. The ranch is located in game management area 14 and should be really good hunting with all the new growth after the 2018 fire.

Recreation
