D&D Broiler Farm – Four House Farm in Pickens County, Alabama

D&D Broiler Farm is a four house broiler farm in Pickens County, Alabama. Each house is 50x500 and were built in 2005, 2008, and two houses in 2014. The farm grows a 9lb. bird for Peco Foods, Gordo Complex. The farm has 55+/- acres which most is wooded. There is a nice home site near the county road with utilities close by.

The farm has the following equipment:

• Hired Hand Evolution 3000 controllers 2 houses

• Big Dutchman Flux Feed Lines, 1 house Roxell Feed Lines, 1 house Big Dutchman UniGrow Feed Lines

• Plasson Drinkers

• Brooders for heat

• LP Gas

• City Water

• Incinerator - Freezers are on the farm, but not in use currently

• Two litter sheds

The farm has a nice shop and equipment storage shed. Part of this area can be heated and cooled, this includes a meat locker that has been used for deer processing. Most of the land has mature hardwoods on it. This area is known for whitetail deer hunting. Gross annual income will be +/- $288,000 on 4.5 flocks per year.
