The property is located adjacent to Aldape Summit at one of the highest points on the eastern end of the southern border of Boise County and northeast Ada County. From the 5,500-foot summit on the property, wide vistas look south into Boise and east toward Oregon. The entire Treasure Valley, from Boise to Ontario, Oregon, can be seen from this property. Looking directly south from the property summit, the views extend across eastern Boise all the way into Nevada. Looking northeast over Mount Heinen, the Sawtooth Range is also visible, and Bogus Basin summit can be seen to the northwest of the property summit.
