The Rupp Ranch near Hereford Oregon is a new offering. The ranch is located approximately 35 miles South of Baker City, Oregon in Baker County

The ranch contains approximately 1,700 deeded acres in two parcels.

The main ranch contains 1,060 acres of which approximately 550 acres is irrigated. The irrigated land has approximately 200 acres of good flood and sub irrigated meadow and permanent pasture.

The balance of the irrigated land is sprinkler irrigated with 7 pivots and a small amount of ground covered with a wheel line. Water is released from Higgins Reservoir and diverted to the Burnt River and pumped to the sprinkled ground. Water is excellent and is diverted and pumped from the Burnt River which runs through the meadow portion of the ranch. Most all of the ranch is in grass and pasture, however some of the pivot ground could be planted to alfalfa.

The current operation is grazing for 350 pair for the grazing season. The ranch is well fenced and provides ease of management.

The main ranch is improved with an older single-family home, an older double wide manufactured home, large shop and two grain bins. The ranch has an excellent set of livestock working facilities and corrals.

The upper tract is 640 acres of native range pasture and provides excellent mule deer and elk hunting.
