Hi, I am Clif Cannon, I am a lifelong resident of Franklin County, MS. My roots in the community go far deeper than just having lived here. My great-great-grandfather was an early settler in Franklin County in the Hamburg, MS area in the late 1800’s.
Raised by my grandparents, I consider myself to be a bit “old school”. I was raised to believe that a man’s word is his bond and that his reputation was everything.
After graduating from high school in 1990 I worked my first job at Dow Chemicals in Plaquemine, LA at 18. I joined the Untied States Army in 1993 and spent 6 years in the service of my country. During that time, I married Lisa, my wife of 30 years. We have two children, Tristan and Hayden. They are successful adults living in Hammond, LA.
I spent almost 20 years working at various positions in sawmills working my way from an entry level employee to Superintendent. I learned a great deal about business, manufacturing, and pine trees.
I began my real estate career in 2019 after spending a year as the production superintendent of the last sawmill I managed. I wanted a change in my life and a little more freedom to enjoy my own passions and hobbies.
What I found was a new passion and a journey that has been the most enjoyable of my life. After 5 years as a successful agent, and after much deliberation and prayer, my wife and I decided that it was time to open our own brokerage. Our goal is to develop a brokerage that is solely devoted to providing the utmost in service to our clients. We hope that you will give us an opportunity to provide that level of service to you.
