Sanctuary on Third Fork is positioned just south of the Boise National Forest on NF-16 forest road. The property has a clear mountain trout stream that runs the length of the lush meadows, flowing throughout the year. Elevation rises from 3,600 to 4,600 feet providing excellent wildlife habitat. Many pockets and ledges exist for building a dream retreat. Bring your camper or your architect. The views are endless in every direction when up on the higher portions of the parcels. Sunrises and sunsets are an experience to cherish.

The land has been a summer and early fall home to cattle for grazing native grasses and consuming fresh water. Along the road is a sturdy set of pipe corrals for trailer loading cattle. The property is bordered on the west by Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The north border is Boise National Forest, and the south borders Idaho State Land. Wildlife is abundant, elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, bear, upland game birds, waterfowl, and many more forest critters. This is a gateway to the West Mountains area, climbing to over 8,200 feet elevation at the top of Snowbank Mountain. For hunting enthusiasts, this is game unit 32-A.
