Centennial is a small mountain community and gateway to the national forest and Snowy Range Scenic Byway. To the east, Laramie provides shopping, dining, healthcare, the University of Wyoming, and regional air service. Denver International Airport is approximately 2.5 hours to the south.

Long before becoming the modern highway traveled today, the route across the mountains was known as the Great Skyroad. Great Sky Ranch takes its name from that historic route and the landscape that continues to define this part of Wyoming.
