Double Creek Summit offers expansive hunting and recreational land in Garfield County, highlighted by approximately 0.75 miles of Cow Creek providing live water through the valley. The ranch also features roughly half a mile of Bear Creek running through the upper portion of the property. Diverse terrain, ranging from steep, timbered mountainsides to open oak brush benches, leads to expansive ridge-top views of surrounding mountains! Land Located in Garfield County, Double Creek Summit is comprised of approximately 574 +/- acres. The ranch presents a combination of excellent hunting with  grazing opportunities during the spring, summer, and fall months. The land features steep and densely covered mountainsides and open-country that consist of oak brush, aspens, and pines.  As you crest the ridge tops, there are remarkable panoramic views of many mountains ranges, valleys, and canyons off in the distance! The southern half of the tract is comprised of thick timber with Cow Creek running through the bottom, attracting many species of wildlife that reside on the property year-round!

Located in GMU 22 , the hunting opportunities on this ranch are what hunters’ dreams are made of! Over-the-counter tags are available in multiple seasons for elk, however, deer tags are draw only. Additionally, GMU 22 has over-the-counter spring and fall turkey tags available. With the year-round presence of wildlife such as elk, deer, moose, and turkey, hunting is guaranteed to be successful during each season! In addition, the ranch sandwiches thousands of acres of BLM lands that provide many more opportunities for hunting, hiking, ATV riding, or even just exploring the natural alpine beauty.

Location The town of Rifle, CO is located just over an hour to the southeast of the subject property and offers many convenient stores with gas stations, dine-in restaurants, grocery stores, downtown businesses, a hospital, and numerous other recreational activities! To the north of the ranch, Meeker, CO provides gas stations, a grocery store, a hospital, and a couple restaurants and is nearly 1 hour away. Located approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the southeast of the ranch, Glenwood Springs, CO offers much of the same as Rifle, but has additional amenities and activities such as the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and the Glenwood Hot Springs!

For air travel, the closest airports that provide commercial flights are Eagle County Regional Airport (located to the southeast between Gypsum, CO and Eagle, CO) and Grand Junction Regional Airport (located to the southwest in Grand Junction, CO), both of which are approximately 2 hours from the ranch. Another option for commercial flying is Yampa Valley Region Airport which is located approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to the northeast in Hayden, CO.
