Double R Broiler Farm is a four-house poultry operation located in Cleburne County, Alabama, just outside the town of Ranburne and only a quarter mile from the Georgia state line, offering quick access to Bowdon and Carrollton. The farm features four 40x500 houses that are connected by control rooms and currently grow a 4-pound bird for Pilgrim’s out of the Carrollton complex. Pilgrim’s recently implemented a pay raise, and the farm has a projected gross annual income of approximately $240,000.

Situated on 20+/- acres of mostly open land, the property includes a double-wide mobile home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Significant upgrades were completed in 2023 to enhance efficiency and performance. These updates include new ChoreTime C2Plus feed lines with Turbo Mates, Ziggity drinkers, new rods and strapped winching systems on feed and drinker lines, numerous new brooders with updated cabling, walk-through doors, center brood curtains, and replacement fan cones.

The houses are equipped with ChoreTronics 3 controllers, LED lighting, spray-foamed interior walls, AgriAlert alarms with digital backups, an incinerator for mortality, and a compost shed. The farm operates on city water and LP gas. Equipment included in the sale consists of a Lewis Brothers House Keeper and a pulverizer. Additionally, ten new fans that have not yet been installed will be transferred with the property.
