The Thompson North

The Thompson Ranch North is located Northwest of Limon Colorado and consist of 2895+/- deeded acres. The ranch is located just North of Hwy 86 offering tremendous access off a black top highway and minutes from Interstate 70. With the abundant snow fall from this past winter, the Summer grasses will be bountiful, and stock damns recharged. Land It is rare that a large contiguous ranch of this caliber comes to market in this region of Colorado.

The ranch boarders Hwy 86 for nearly 3 miles and has multiple entrances which allows for easy access loading and unloading cattle on and off the ranch. The Thompson Ranch is crossed fenced into three pastures. The pastures are watered by wells, two windmill wells with good concrete tire tanks, and a newer solar well with a tire tank. There are numerous stock damns on the ranch which hold water during a normal year. These stock ponds allow for additional water sources for both livestock and wildlife.

Recreation The Thompson Ranch is located in Colorado Big Game Hunting unit 105. The ranch has the necessary acres to qualify for Landowner Deer and Antelope tags. This region of Colorado is known for its strong Antelope numbers and trophy quality. Mule deer can be found on the ranch as the traverse the countryside from creek bed to creek bed.
