Wild Horse Ranch  is 16 miles west of Laramie, home of the University of Wyoming, and an hour and a half to Cheyenne or Fort Collins, Colorado.  The Medicine Bow Mountains and Snowy Range Ski area is less than a half hour to the west. Denver International Airport (DEN) is two hours to the south.
